Nice, but a little more expensive than it should be..., Nov 08, 2004

A well-maintained course that can make you forget you're in dry Del Rio, TX. Plenty of trees and clear, spring-fed creeks make this course somewhat challenging, paticularly when combined with narrow fairways and greens that leave little room for error. The course is litttle pricey, however. It costs right around $50 to play on the weekend, which is pretty high for its location and for a course that only has nine holes.

"Westwinds - A shot makers course"
Bring every club in your bag and put your thinking cap on before coming to this course. Best bet is to go out with a member or get a yardage book and stay on track for a 4 hour round. Best quote out on the golf course - "I'll either play over you, around you or through you, you take your pick."
