Forget this place, Mar 24, 2009

I tried this course after several weeks ago as I wanted to tune up my short game. The course is very short and it was not maintained very well. The holes are boring, and the signage is poor. Some of the greens were not in the best shape. I noticed an older crowd and therefore the pace was slow. I would never return to this course. In addition there is no driving range or restaurant.

"Great layout"
This course has it all! Some very challenging holes, as well as a few tameable ones. The holes vary, some are flat and others have rising or falling terrain. Most fairways have some undulation. The scenery is serene, especially the holes near Lake Acworth. If you haven't played here, you are missing out on a GA treasure.

"Tough Layout"
Beautiful layout with a lot of elevation changes and fast, undulating greens. The course also winds through a lot of trees, mostly pines and oaks. First six holes are a real challenge. If you can survive these opening holes with a score that's just a few strokes over par, you may be able to recover by the end. The 15th hole is a monster from back tees, measuring almost 650 yards. Overall, bring every club in your bag.

This course is the finnest course i have played on. If your looking for a challenge and some senery while your at it this is the course for you. With the somewhat more open fornt nine and the most closed back nine i have played on ever it provides a challenge to any golfer.
