This course has narrow, tree-lined fairways. Water comes into play on only two holes. The signature hole is #5, a 168-yard, par 3, featuring a drastic drop in elevation from tee to green. From off this tee, golfers can see a breathtaking view of the White Mountains. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

The view of the White Mountains brings me back to this course every year. If you're looking for a special experience to hit a few balls then this is it. Perfect for the vacationer looking to enjoy the local favor and swing the clubs. Not recommended if your game is at the highest level and your filling your calender with golf courses to play. A terrific walk and talk course.

This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. When golf is mentioned around the area of McDonald/Midway/Pittsburgh and it's surrounding areas, most people think of Quicksilver. I urge everyone to play Fort Cherry Golf Club. The staff there treats you like real true people, and are there to serve you. Their gentle courtesey helped me to feel comfortable, even before i stepped forth on the golf course. The course itself is always in beautiful shape. IPrices are right; play is magnificant. I recommend Fort Cherry to all vistors and friends that I know are comming to the area.
