This course is always in great shape although they have had some trouble with a couple of shady greens over the years. What is so great about this track is that it demands shot making. Driver is not always the best choice on several of the par fours. Teeing off with irons will help you keep your score down and the rewards for accurate iron shots are great while the penalties for poor drives are also great. If you think your game is on take it to Sugar Tree for a real test.

Antelope Hills Golf Course
"Diamond in the rough"
In July, 2003 I had the chance to try out this little 9 hole course and I was very satisfied with my experience. The fairways were in tremendous condition and the greens offered a perfect putting surface. We could hear the coyotes howling as we started our round in the morning. The peacefulness alone (my wife and I were the only people on the course) was worth the price of green fees. The green fees, by the way, are very reasonable. The scenery from the first tee is spectacular, especially if you glance to the west. If you're looking for a tough challenge, this isn't the course for you. The course is not too challenging but is a perfect stop if you're a beginner or coming out of Yellowstone and want to just relax on the course. It's very wide open so you shouldn't lose any balls. My wife is a beginner golfer and had a very enjoyable round. Everything is well-maintained and we found the staff to be courteous and friendly. I plan on returning to play this course again and I highly recommend you give it a try. Definitely a course to walk (not ride) to get the full enjoyment.

Simply the best in worst greens, worst drainage and highest price! Can't be beat! Course maintenance? What the hell is that? It's not need here, cause crabgrass takes care of itself both on and off the greens.
