This course was built on rolling hills and features many trees that can alter your shots. There are four ponds that come into play on many holes. Larry and Roger Packard designed the second nine holes, which were added in 1980.

Nicest people in Des Moines. Fun course. Great and challenging. For the money it's a best buy. It's not the Harvestor but you can play Blank twice for the price. Beer kept real cold, too. Ideal.

Sharon Golf Club, The
"The Sharon Golf Club - a real treat"
The Sharon Golf Club is located in beautiful Sharon, Ohio. The various trees lining the fairways frame a challenging championship course that is relaxing and fun to play. The pro, Dwight Axtell is a wonderful teacher, and utilizes video analysis into his lessons. Mr. Axtell's lessons are available to non-members, and will help players of any ability level.

Mistwood Golf Course
"We're not in "Chicago" anymore!"
I play alot of high-end golf courses and this was as fun as I have had for the price I paid. The layout was very memorable and fun to play. The greens were lightning fast and is comparable to many great country club greens. I played horrible there but I enjoyed the experience. The staff was very polite and friendly from the time I got out of my car to when I had a conversation with the Chef who cooked me my steak the way I wanted it. See you in 2004!

Cabin Brook Golf Course
"Canbin Brook is a fair golf course"
I have playd Cabin Brook many times growing up in the central Kentucky region. The fairways are wide enough for most beginners and the terrain only comes into play on a couple of holes. With the rolling hills, it is a good place to learn how to adjust your shots in your stance. The price, sometimes, can be a bit much but, it is worth it for the casual duffer.

Elm Tree Golf Course
"Great Time"
I played this course a few times in 2003 and I had a great time. Not one of the hardest ones I have played, but really long shots and nice wide fairways. I have to say if you are in CNY area and in the area between Cortland and Ithaca, NY Elm Tree Golf Course has to be a stop.
