This resort offers an eighteen hole course and a nine hole executive course. The Wildflower Course is a prairie links-style design built on 240 acres of spacious land featuring several elevation changes. There is a 90-foot elevation change from the highest tee to the lowest. The greens are large. There is no water coming into play, but the course is heavily bunkered. This scenic course provides many panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The Guest Course plays behind the cabins and houses located along Pelican Lake. The fairways are tree lined but wide, and the greens are small and fast. Senior discounts are available on Mondays only. The pro shop can also be reached by calling (888) PLA-YWILD. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

Oakmont Country Club
"Tough but Fair"
Oakmont is a picturesque layout in the foothills of Glendale with lovely mountain views. The course is an old-style country club layout which rewards well planned out shotmaking. The greens are usually very fast and reward players for being below the hole. The Pac-10 Conference Championship was held at Oakmont in 2003 and only two players broke par (288) in a field of 50. The players found the par 3's particularly challenging. The greens are very well protected with sand bunkers and the fairways are heavily tree-lined. Best time to play Oakmont is in the spring and fall. I find the twelfth hole to be the most challenging. It is a 420 yard par four, uphill and terraced. The green is long and narrow, two-tiered and protected by a large bunker on the right and a drop-off hill and trees on the left.

High Ridge Country Club
"Breathtaking"
This very exclusive club is one of the best i've ever played on. Not excessively long, but very challenging. The course was in impeccable shape, and 16 of the 18 holes could be signature holes. If you ever get a chance to play this beatiful track, jump at it.

Mountain Valley Golf Course - Maple/Oak Course
"hidden gem"
Course was originally 18 but 9 new holes were added in the last few years. The three nines, oak, pine, and maple are all challenging with tight tree lined fairways with generous sized greens with a fair bit of undulation. Huge elevation changes on some holes offer great views of the surrounding PA countryside. Although not the longest course, although some holes are quite long it is easily the most difficult in the region due to the tightness and difficult putting greens. The greens are always in great condition so the difficulty I have with putting is assuredly not the course, It's all mine. Great value too, and a friendly and helpful staff makes these three nine hole courses a must when in the area.
