This course is surrounded by oak and pine trees and has small greens. The fairways are flat and wide open, and four lakes come into play on four holes. Nine holes opened in 1997, making this a regulation eighteen hole course. The most difficult hole on the course, and quite possibly in all of Laurens County, is #16, a 417-yard, par 4, featuring two sand bunkers in front of the green and another flanking the rear.

Average golf holes thrown around in an ugly manner. Even with the given of the nine hole- eighteen hole transition of this course it is nothing short of ugly. Crossing active fairways to drive by tee boxes is not my idea of a golf course layout. Especially in an area where land is not so precious of a comodity. Do not bother, there are much better courses within a reasonable distance.

Choose this as my home course even though there are two others closer to me. Always trying to improve the course they are presently redoing all of the sprinkler systems and the course is pretty tore-up at the present but should be back in great shape by may06. Definitely worth the short ride off of the beaten path. The summer weekly scrambles on thurs. are awesome and an outstanding deal to play for just $5.

In the middle of nowhere (no offense intended) lies quite a jewel. This is a very playable course with great fairways and soft greens. The soft greens allow you to attack the flag on most holes ,however, some are well guarded forcing you to play position. You definitely have an opportunity to use every club in your bag.
