This is a "members only" club on weekends. The fairways are narrow and tree lined, and the greens are well-manicured. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes. This is a small nine hole course. It is in great shape and the surrounding scenery (neighborhood) is nice. The longest hole (#9) is 216 yards, so be prepared to leave the driver at home and work on your irons. The greens have improved tremendously since April, and are faster. Again, this is a fun course and great for beginner to intermediate players. It has a friendly staff and for the price, you cant beat the membership. Oh, and the beers are only $1.75.

Wynstone is situated on a topographically diverse landscape, unbecoming of many Chicagoland golf venues. It has abundant wildlife which adds to the course's balance between a parkland and wetland. Wynstone also offers a unique challenge for any golfer. Not only is the golf course difficult at 7,000+ yards, but also presents a challenge to any comers at 6,500. Both birdies and bogies are easily found throughout the track. Finally, the course is maintained hard and fast. Fairways and greens are firm which requires and rewards shotmaking.

Greystone Golf Club
"Scenic and challenging"
This is a beautiful and well designed course. The course can prove to be challenging for both the beginner and scratch golfer alike. The high grass that seperates some of the holes can be frustrating, so you would be well advised to keep to the left on such holes. During the fall the greens are usually riddled with leaves and twigs so spring and summer would be your best bet. The developer did an excellent job incorporating the natural surroundings into the course. With a tee off the top of a ridge on hole one, to the natural rocks that appear throughout the course, Greystone Golf Club in Dickson is sure to give you the feeling of connecting with nature as you connect with your ball.

Clear Creek Golf Club
"Best Par 3 Course Ever"
It really makes you work on your short game. If you need help with your wedges this is the place to be. There are some really long par 3 holes up to 200 yards. It is deep in the woods and has some narrow fairways. I give it 5 stars for being challenging and fun.
