Course is in great shape, hard hole locations and fast greens. You have to select the right club on several holes to prevent disasters around the greens. Stay in the fairways and you have an opportunity to shoot a good round.

Best golf in Birmingham for the dollar, Apr 30, 2004

Yard for Yard, this is the best dollar value in the Birmingham area. It still has some maturing to do, but for a good challenge of golf weither it is from the white, Blue ot Gold tee's there's not a better dollar value.

This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

A great course with old world charm with a hint of Caddy Shack's great old golf course "Bushwood." You will be treated well and feel like you are on the Caddy Shack set.
