This course was built on gently rolling hills, and has wide fairways. The fairways are lined with fir and oak trees, and there is one pond that comes into play on four holes. The signature hole is #12, a 407-yard, par 4, which plays completely uphill with sand bunkers, mounds and bunkers coming into play around the green and on the fairway.

| The course has alot of blind shots and uphills. It has some length so you will need to use almost every club in your bag. The one thing is some of the tee boxes need work. But otherwise decent course and an overall fun experience. |

| for a public course it is a gem especially because it is so close to the city. it is now maintained by a private course management company and they are doing a great job keeping the fairways maintained and the greens manicured. the course is very tough on casual golfers because it has several holes where you can't see the green from the tee box. it has the signature donald ross layout with some deceiving green placements and distances. you will have to use very club in your bag for this course. i love it and would recommend it for players of all levels because of the history and layout. |
