This course features narrow fairways, no water hazards, and plenty of sand bunkers. There is an average of three greenside sand bunkers per every hole. Many mature and newly planted young trees line the fairways, so shot accuracy is essential. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Valley View Golf Course
"The Best Golf Course in the State"
It is hard to say how I feel about this magnificent golf course in only 1,000 words. The natural beauty and splendor of the course added to the enjoyable time I had while playing a round of golf. This course is challenging, and it is a good test of your abilities. The pro shop is is also very neat and organized. I met a man who worked there who was an artisst as well as a golfer! He had taken pictures of golfers in different positions and painted them into humorous golf paintings. I learned his name was Todd Budge and that aside from working in the pro shop and painting, he also teaches golf lessons! This golf course has it all. A Cafe, a pro shop, lessons, a driving range, practice putting greens, and a splended course. I give this course a 5-star rating and recommend it above all other courses in the state of Utah. I am going to try and drive up at least twice a month to play a round of golf at Valley View. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get this message out ot people, but I am recommending that everyone who reads this message pass it along to friends so at the first of spring, everybody can enjoy a beautiful round of golf.

This is a nice country course, if you want to golf with Tiger go else where. This is a great small town public golf course with relaxed golfing. Great place to come and practice for the bigger and better places. Give it a try.................

Pelican Sound Golf & River Club
"Pelican Sound, a fair challenge for all."
The three nines at Pelican Sound are quite similar in design (but isn't that true for most Florida golf courses) however they do offer some diverse challenges. The fairways are wide, but don't let that give you a false sense of security. They tend to fall off towards lakes, marshes and palmetto bushes rendering your ball lost or unplayable. The greens are large, slightly elevated and well contoured. Green speeds vary depending on grain direction but are always in excellent condition. Watch out for down hill down grain putts, they will get away from you very easily. The practice facilities are good, providing a aqua range (not my favorite, but tends to be the norm in Florida) a good chipping area with a large bunker and a large putting green. Overall Pelican Sound is a good, challenging and fair golf experience. If you can get a tee-time (high season) it is a good course to add to your rotation.
