This eighteen hole facility offers the amenities of a private club. Built in 1966, the course was recently restored and is maintained to the highest standards. The facility, nestled in Chester County's Great Valley, offers a classic layout with the great features of a traditional Philadelphia golf course. The fairways are tree lined. Four sets of tees provide a challenging round of golf for golfers of all skill levels.

Played 2 courses in PA while on business there in Sept. 2003. The area was hit very hard by rain and flooding the days previous. I thought the course was in pretty darn good shape considering. THe course layout itself was a bit better than average. It is a bit of back and forth golf though, considering the club is landlocked. 17 was very interesting, while the front nine didn't have many memorable holes. THe management was very nice in helping a single join up with someone to play.

First course I played since getting into golf, played 11 times. Lots of hazards and had fun playing. Would still be there except 60 par can't help building my handycap. A little costly for a exec course and for a new golfer, for the same or less you can play full 72.

"It is what it is."
This is a no-nonsense par 3 course. Course is flat and wide open. Excellent place to get in a practice round or take kids or beginning golfers to. Low handicappers will not find this course challenging with the exception of a few water hazards. Fees are $15 monday through thursday.

Experience at Koele, The
"Enjoyable golf in one of the world's greatest settings"
The Experience at Koele is a very nice Greg Norman designed layout that will having you often looking at the scenery in lieu of thinking about your next shot. One of two golf coures on the very upscale and exclusive island of Lanai, playing the Experience is a wonderful way to spend part of the day. The staff are very friendly and cater to whatever you need. Guests are there to have a good time and many people from around the globe find their way to Lanai to stay and play. When I played, the course was not quiet mature enough and, when mature, the golf course will be superb. It has been three years since then and I look forward to the next time I get a chance to stay on Lanai and enjoy again this course and/or the Nicklaus course near the ocean. If I only had one resort visit left in me, it would be to the Manele Bay Hotel and the island of Lanai. What more can I say.
