The local pro says this course has the best greens in the state. The most demanding hole is #5, a 341-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over a lake to the green. New owners took over in April, 1996, and they have made improvements in the pro shop and on other parts of the course. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Golf Club at Cimarron Trails, The
"My review"
Cimarron Trails is one of the most challenging and exciting courses I have played in my lifetime of golfing. I would recommend this course to any serious and/or just weekend golfers. The first minte entering the spetacular and spacious clubhouse you get a feeling of something special happening. It smells like golf and it is golf incarnate. This golf course stays in great shape year round. It is a quiet course tucked away in the hills of Lake County. The layout of this course will challenge you without making you mad. The price to play this course is also very affordable. It is one of the cheapest places to play without sacrificing quality.

I would definately say that the course is very well designed. Some holes narrow and lined with trees on both sides, others wide open but with great length. The course challenges even the best of golfers and is guarenteed to be a fun golfing experience. The caddies prove to be truly helpful with their thorough knowledge of the course layout and are overall a friendy group of people. I would definately recommend the course to anyone with deep pockets and a skin compexion that only stays tan 2 seasons out of the year.
