This facility has two eighteen hole regulation courses and night play is available. The terrain varies from flat to hilly on both courses, and each has tree-lined fairways that vary in width. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are fast. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 10th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.

If you love wild life and breath taking fairways...this course is for you. I have played this course several times and I have never been rushed, I have always seen wild-life, the course has always been in excellent shape and I have never had a good score. But, I love playing the course.

This course was my home course for high school golf. It's well taken care of and in great condition, but there are trees everywhere. After all, it's basically in the middle of the woods. The course is very tight but not very long though. It is really fun to play and a challenge!

A straight hitters course. Great layout; flat for a mountain course. Leave your driver in the car and you will have an enjoyable round.

Arrowhead Golf Course
"Good Course at a fair price,"
The course is decent in upkeep, not the greatest greens but a nice and challenging course at times with greens protected by bunkers in touch positions. Course management is a little on the off side, they have no control over how many are on the course, and will load it up way past capacity, as well as never using any marshalling to speed up play. Weekdays are good times to play because of the lessened Traffic

Lakeland Hills Golf Course
"Getting better every day"
Lakeland is a great course for the money. New owners took over is 2002 or so. Hard to remember because we don't play it regularly. They have added new features every year, trees, bridges, new tee boxes, etc.The front nine is fairly open, hard to get into too much trouble. Watch out for some water. We prefer the back nine. It's a little more hilly, still has some water. Nothing to worry about. Lakeland has the best drainage of any course we have ever seen. It is open unless there is snow on the ground. We have played this course in Feb., when a winter thaw and 50 degree days suprized us all. Just played in on Jan 3, 2004 when we has another winter warm spell. Jackson has lots and lots of great courses. No one would ever be disappointed taking a golfing holiday in Jackson, Michigan.

Chickasaw Pointe Golf Resort
"Best Public Course in the Southwest"
This golf course is quite different from any state course, or other public course I have ever played. The staff treats you like royalty right when you arrive. The cart attendants load and unload your clubs at the door. The club pros are very courteous. The course is located on the shores of Lake Texhoma, the biggest lake in Texas or Oklahoma. The layout is amazing, with the lake bordering 15 holes. It is very challenging, and very fun. This plot is some of the most beautiful, rolling terrain in all of Oklahoma. The greens are fast, with deceptive undulation, but they are still forgiving enough for the average hacker to enjoy the play along with the scenery. This was a GREAT day of golf. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys challenging golf or just a nice day in a beautiful country atmosphere.
