Nice layout but not worth the hassle from the staff. They are rude and could care less about your round of golf. Skip this course and go play elsewhere.

i just played this course for the first time yesterday, and i liked it enough to make a tee time today, it was in great condition and i plan to play their many times before summer is out.

Not bad for a public course, Jun 04, 2004

I played this course for the first time 2 weeks ago and am going back to play this weekend. That says something in itself. This is not the world's hardest course, but I am not the world's best golfer. There are enough challenges to make you work, but the course is forgiving enough that you will have a great time. I used nearly every club in my bag. The greens (when not being aerated) are small and well guarded. Lots of fun.

Forest Heights Country Club
"South Georgia's best secret"
What a wonderful couse that plays well all year round. This couse will test all skill levels but is fair. With wide fairways but tough rough and a lot of trees if you miss the fairway. Fairly long most par 4 play between 380 to 410 yards. Water comes into play on 5 holes. Couse is in great shape and a 3 1/2 hour round is the norm!

This course is in the middle of the upper peninsula of Michigan. It is simply the best course I ever played for the money. Quick and true greens were very well maintained (How did they attract such a talented Superintendent). Very challenging holes that do not duplicate themselves. Laid back atmosphere--no pressures!

"The Best Pound for Pound"
The dunes is possibly the best course for the money in the entire state! I give the course five stars due to its all around duffer enjoyment. The course itself allows for not just a fun but also a challenging round. The beauty of such a course in such a desolate location is unbelievable, as is the staff. You couldnt ask for a friendlier environment!
