Great Greens, A Little Short on Length, Aug 23, 2005

I'm not a member at WillowHaven CC, but I've played the course about 8 times and each time has been a great experience. I'm 10 handicap who has both scored well and bad at this course. Though the course can be considered to be somewhat short (6400 from the tips), it has a definite identity with its dog legs, tree lined fairways and excellent greens. You can truly end up over par on a hole if you're approach shot is not placed in the proper location on or around the green. I have played many courses in Pinehurst and around Raleigh and I always look forward to a round at this course. I'm very suprised that this course has not received much pub when I search on the Internet.
