This course has wide, tree-lined fairways. Water hazards come into play on eleven holes. Half of the course was designed with the links-style in mind, while the other, more traditional, half was built on terrain that varies between rolling and hilly. The signature hole is #16, an uphill 163-yard, par 3, featuring a beautiful waterfall on the right side of the fairway. White-silicon bunkers have also been incorporated throughout the course.

Generally nice course with some great views on several holes. Tee boxes were not in great shape with uneven footing on several and loads of repair needed for the surfaces. Very green fairways that often hid very large wet and soggy areas. Grass on the greens was generally longer that needed which led to slow rolling puts. Small pro shop with limited golf eqipment and related apparel. No restaurant but a limited menu snack bar. Limited staff was generally helpful.

Stone ridge is a nice course with lots of water and sand. The most difficult hole for a slicer is 15. Large pond to the right of the green.

We play about 70 rounds of golf a year...everywhere from Tour 18 in Houston to Coyote Creek in Gilroy, California and found Stone Ridge to be a beautiful golf course that appealed to the high handicapper in our group as much as our low handicapper. The course gets very challening from the back tees, with difficult shot making requriements, however from playing the forward tees it reduces some tough angles or carries and doesn't overwhelm a newer golfer. The course is amongst hills and trees with no homes anywhere nearby and is flat out beautiful terrain! Value-wise, great deal...and I would recommend it to anyone. I stay in Medford about 8 weeks a year on business and Stone Ridge is my first choice of golf!
