This club has three nine hole courses that are played in eighteen hole combinations. All three courses were cut out of the woodlands, have very tight fairways and are moderately hilly. Natural water hazards come into play on many holes on the Middle and Back courses. The greens are very undulating and medium-sized. The Front Course offers shorter yardage and narrower fairways. There are no water hazards on this course, but sand bunkers are present.

ROLLING GREEN GOLF CLUB OFFERS EVERY GOLFER A CHALLENGE. THIS 27 HOLE COURSE HAS A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING. ON THE FIRST 9, THE PAR FOUR FOURTH HOLE IS YOUR TOUGHEST CHALLENGE. A SLIGHT DOGLEG LEFT THAT'S TREE-LINED ON BOTH SIDES WITH AN APPROACH SHOT TO A KIDNEY SHAPED GREEN THAT'S HARD TO HOLD. THE MIDDLE 9 HAS TWO LONG PAR FIVES. #17 OFF THE TEE YOU HAVE TO BE STRAIGHT, BECAUSE YOU ARE HITTING THROUGH A SHUTE OF TREES FOR ABOUT 100 YARDS. YOUR SECOND SHOT SHOULD BE A LAYUP. THE LARGE GREEN IS FRONTED BY TWO LARGE BUNKERS. #18'S BEST FEATURE IS THAT THE FAIRWAY RUNS OUT AT 200 YARDS THEN IT IS STRAIGHT DOWNHILL (A 50 FOOT ELEVATION CHANGE), EASY RIGHT? AND THE LAST 9 HAS TWO LONG PAR FIVES. THE FIRST ONE, #25, IS OVER TWO CREEKS. THE SECOND, #27, IS 445 YARDS FROM THE BLUE TEES. IT'S A DEFINITE THREE SHOT HOLE.

I think this is a great course for beginners. Its inexpensive and forgiving in a lot of areas. No water hazards mean you won't lose a lot of balls. All and all a good course to practice on or to enjoy with a friend.

"Nice Backyard Course"
Their fairways are like my front yard grass, the greens are slow as molasses and the tee boxes look like a dog did them in. There are no twilight prices and no off season prices. The course is made up of mainly par 3's and 4's. All 18 is fun if you like to play the same holes over again. My advice play the back 9 because it is a lot more challenging. Nice course to kick back a few. The bright side is there carts are $5 but you might as well walk and get your moneys worth. But overall it is a prime course for someone learning to golf. But as Ferhty would say "There's no flys on that one", does not pertain to this course.
