Sweet Southern Oaks, May 12, 2009

The Southern Oaks golf course is a beautiful well maintained golf course, with very reasonable rates. The hole layouts were challenging and fun and the greens are undulating and manicured. I think Southern Oaks encompasses what a true non-coastal, South Carolina golf course should look like.

Our group had a wonderful round. The course is very well maintained, and fun to play. It's not jam packed with hidden hazards and blind shots like some of the other courses in the area. They also overseed fairways and everything with rye grass during the winter. You hardly ever see that on a public course. I don't see how they do it for what they charge.

This is a good course to be semi private. Fairways are in great shape and greens are nice. Best course in the Easley area!
