This well-manicured course has tree-lined fairways, which are wide open. The undulating greens are average speed, and water hazards (two large lakes and several streams) come into play on a number of holes. This year this golf course is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Due to the private nature of the club, reciprocal rates are no available for publication.

| I played a few outings on the course and I think its a nice place to play. The greens are in good shape and so is the rest of the course. The thing that kills me on this course is the fact that it requires you to hit the ball straight which I have a tough time doing. There are many great holes on this course like 14 which I love because of how it is set up. Overall I like the course and would play there anytime. |

| I am a young golfer at Leewood Golf Course, and I always tell my friends to come with me to play golf at Leewood. I always play with my friends (Joey, and Alex).During the summer, we have a junior interclub team. This is a great program, and many young juniors get a lot out of it. The 3rd hole and Leewood is a beautiful dog leg left, and on a nice sunny day you can see New York City from the tee box, and it looks like a picture every time. I have played golf my whole life, and I would tell everybody to come play at Leewood Golf Club. |

| I have played at Leewood Golf Course several times and I have enjoyed it very much. Although it is a fairly short course it requires straight drives, not long but straight. I wouldn't say the greens are very difficult, but they aren't easy. There are two beautiful par 3's where there are lakes just before the green and you have to hit the ball over the lake to hit the green. There is also one par 4 (hole 14) that is about 280 to 300 yards from the tee box to the lake and most people lay the ball up with eaither a driver or a 3 wood and then hit a wedge onto the green or some more daring people will go with a driver to go for the green. It has happened before but most people just lay it up. One more interesting fact is that Babe Ruth was once a member at Leewood. |

Great Course, Jun 18, 2008 |

| I have played golf at leewood for quite some time now and I would say it is an excellent course. The head pro, Dean Johnson, is a great teacher and is a great guy to have around. He knows what he is doing . The other three pros, Mike, Will, and Steve are also excellent. I really love the course set up and you have to hit the ball straight which helped me get better in a way because I always hit the ball a ton but a lot off times not straight. Now, I hit it far and straight. I like that combo! It is also just a beautiful course. I would 100 percent reccomend leewood to anyone that would want to join a golf club. |

| Reminds me of Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury, CT. Same original architect - Deveraux Emmett. Nice track rewards accuracy. |

A classic, Sep 30, 2005 |

| Tougher than you might think at 6000 yards, this is not a "tee it high and let it fly" layout. Accuracy is rewarded, greens are fast. Beautiful and well maintained, I'd play again anytime. |

| Cant help thinking about the 16th hole where Babe Ruth suffered a mild heart attack in 1940. |
