Will definitely be back, May 11, 2008
reviewer: Justin from Rahway, NJ
I was very impressed with the condition for a northern NJ course. I thought that the maintenance was very good and to walk on a Saturday afternoon was quite reasonably priced. The course was rather crowded, but we were at least able to keep moving and had minimal waiting times. I will definitely be back.

Stay Away From Old Goose Crap-I mean Old Orchard, May 03, 2008
reviewer: The Big Cat from Monmouth County
I have played here a few times. The course is OK at best but the staff stinks. I played in the afternoon the last time I was there and got stuck after a few holes playing behind a 5-some. Apparently they were members and after having a few cocktails in the bar decided to go wager for a few holes making our round miserable. I live in Monmouth County and agree they would attract more people to "OLD GOOSE CRAP" if they lowered their fees. They maintain a snobbish country club attitude usually reserved for high caliber courses. There is always an incredible amount of goose poop on every hole.

No Ladies Locker Room/Poor Service, Jun 10, 2007
reviewer: Leigh Ann Remeke from Absecon, NJ
Although the course was in excellent condition, the service was less than desirable for the cost. First, there are no ladies locker rooms at all and women are forced to change in the rest room. When questioned, the staff said that the course was built when women didn't play golf. Hello? Can you say update your facilities? We had heard the food was good and it was, but service was horrible and that is being kind. We waited 35 minutes for our lunch. There was no starter present at the first tee and no course rangers to keep play moving. High School boys were goofing off and trying to hit people on purpose. We will not be playing here again and it is a shame because the course is nicely laid out and the fairways and greens were exceptional.
