This executive course provides scenic views of the surrounding area and is very easy to walk. There is water that comes into play on three holes. This course was carved out of some of the most scenic and picturesque areas in Northeastern Wisconsin. Many mature oak, poplar and wild cherry trees are scattered throughout the design.

Although only 9 holes, and short the course is a great way to tune up for the more difficult courses in Door County or to just fill in with a quick nine. The price is , well, cheap! You get good value as the tees, fairways and greens are in average condition. Nice little clubhouse to relax with your group for a few drinks and a sandwich. Again,not bad considering the price, and we would play it again.

TimberStone Golf Course
"Worth the trip"
This course is easily the best course I have played. It's on a par with Blackwolf Run and the other Kohler courses at a fraction of the price. This course has a spectacular setting. It winds up and around Iron Mountain, and is a marvel of course design. Despite the elevation changes, only one hole plays uphill. The holes are cut out of the mountain side and winding cart paths take you to the next level, and hole, until you reach numbers 9 and 17, both of which play straight downhill (as does 18, a 600 yard par five with 3 terraced fairways). The grooming is immaculate and each hole is separated from the others by woods or water. Even on a busy day it feels like you're the only golfers on the course. The staff is friendly and efficient and the course is nicely rangered. As you play the course, you will marvel both at the quality of the experience and the incredible engineering required during construction. Rates have been in the $50-60 range for the past several years and its the best golf bargain you can find. This is a course you could play every day and it would remain interesting. The fairways and greens compare with any PGA site. This is one not to miss.

Silver Spring Country Club
"Silver Spoon"
I have played a total of 4 rounds as a guest at Silver Spring. This classic and traditional course is well-maintained with speedy greens that can have you on your knees in a hurry. Wonderful course to walk, even for those of us more inclined to ride. Beautiful woodland setting where deer seem to enjoy free range, even on the greens! (Hoof prints don't make for straight putts) Staff was courteous and friendly despite the blue blood atmosphere. Nice joint.
