This club has a well-established eighteen hole course, plus a nine hole regulation course. The eighteen hole Ascarate Course was built on flat terrain, but there are some mounds that can cause uneven lies. There are many trees that can alter shots, and water hazards come into play on six holes throughout the back nine. The Delta Nine Course is short, but shot accuracy is still essential to compile a low round. This is a great course for beginners or for seniors who like to walk. If the more popular Ascarate Course gets too busy, there's always room on the Delta Nine. The scorecard for the Delta Nine Course doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. Green fees for both courses are for all-day play. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

Ballwin Golf Course
"Ballwin shouldn't be ignored!"
I play this course regularly on a ladies league. It is consistently in great shape, with very challenging greens. The greens are typically in fantastic shape--better than The Bluffs by far! The pro, Dave is knowledgable and great for lessons for both beginners and those wanting to improve. I believe the only 'problem' is for the men following the ladies on their league days--we're trying to pick up our speed. You'll enjoy the challenges of the water(there is a creek/water on 7 of the 9 holes) and sand traps.

Tallwood Country Club
"Beautiful and challenging layout"
The name certainly fit's the layout. The front side of this tree-lined course is tight but somewhat forgiving on certain holes. The front has three par three's and two par 5's making it a par 35. Newly constructed tee's on two of the par 3's, number 3 and 6, make them both over 200 yards. To add to the difficulty #3 plays over water. The 400 yard plus 5th hole was the most difficult, an uphill, dogleg right to a large two-tier green. The backside seem's like water everywhere. It comes directly into play on 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, & 17. Number 15 is a spectacular hole with water along the right that turns in front of the green to make your approach shot about 150 to 160 over water to a large green. Number 17 is a drive over a hill to a green fully protected by a large pond in front and surrounded by a natural bowl around the back and side. This was the most difficult hole on the course. The backside has only one par 3 and two par 5's making par 37. Playing from the blue tee's presents a good challenge for the mid to low handicapper as the course plays to about 6400 yards. The white tees present a nice but fair challenge for the mid to high handicap. Beautiful, quite setting surrounded by woods and farmland. Excellent practice facility, best East of the CT. River. Large, two-tier driving range, three practice greens, one with a fairway chipping area and bunker. Modest clubhouse, a true golfing club.
