This very hilly course is located on the western side of the Franklin Mountains and it offers panoramic views of New Mexico, Mexico and Texas from its 3,800-foot elevation. The fairways are plush, and the greens are well maintained and considered to be some of the fastest in the country. This club has hosted Nike Tour events in the past. Some PGA Tour players come here to practice for the Master's. The club also overseeds during April.

Premium & Undulating Bent Grass Greens Make For Challenge, Jul 08, 2005

If you get a chance to play it, well worth the experience. Known for their greens. Bent grass greens and bermuda fairways. Well groomed hilly course. Also requires accurate iron shots in to rather tight landing areas on the greens. 18th hole one of better finishing holes in Texas. Neat lay-out and very fun to play!

Hyde Park Golf Club
"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.

I am a member at Sadaquada. The club itself is great, good location, good family scene. The course is 9 holes, and is a fairly simple course. However, they do keep the course in great shape and are constantly working to improve it.

Montecito Country Club
"My first course"
I grew up playing MCC. The main criticism of the track has always been that you never get a flat lie, which is often enough true, but a weak criticism nonetheless. When typically fast the greens are challenging (hint: everything breaks toward the ocean); on #13, if you don't keep it below the hole, any putt you don't sink will wind up all the way at the bottom. The course favors a longer driver, and offers plenty of challenge and opportunity for creativity. And you can't beat the view of the Pacific.
