This is the oldest municipal nine hole course in Illinois. The course is extremely well kept and very beautiful. It has very wide fairways and virtually no water hazards. There are two holes that involve water, but you'd almost have to try to put the ball in the water for it to be a problem. The layout consists of nine holes; two par 3's, two par 5's and the rest of the holes are par 4's. The most difficult hole is hole #6, a 575-yard, par 5, featuring a nice-sized hill and a dogleg fairway. The fairways are wide open and the greens are small and well bunkered.

| This course is very fun for the low handicap golfer and challenging but still fun the the high handicap golfer. It is a good course for beginners and for experts. |

| This is an old course with small greens that play to a medium, slow speed. I use this course to keep my game in shape. It has a great par 5 #6 that plays to 575 yards and if you are not in the right spot to hit your third shot it is virtually impossible to hit the green. Make sure to keep it down the leftside, but away from the trees. Hole #8 is the best par 4 on the course. It plays long and slightly uphill. Par is a good score. Wing Park is a great course for kids to learn on. Beware of certain times of the day when the course is overrun with seniors. |
