A Lotta Bang For the Buck, Dec 24, 2007

Elma is without a doubt my favorite course of all time. I have lived in Dallas for 14 years so have seen some great courses. Elma still ranks #1. The tree lined fairways (especially #2) and gorgeous western new york scenery are the number one reason that I am moving back to wny. :). the low fees are a bonus (though not as low as the $3 fee I paid when I began back in 1968). Terrific course, a lot of bang for the buck. Ya gotta luv the elevated tee at #1!

i love this course! growing up, this was my favorite course. the money was right (It was $3 for weekdays and $4 for weekends. yeah, it was a while ago...) the course was challenging, though, and without a lot of water (ugh). the fairways are tight. there are a lot of out of bounds, so you need to keep your drives straight. we used to walk then (we were kids) so it is a bit of a physical challenge, especially on the last 3 holes (they're uphill). all in all, a great course for the money, nestled in the rolling farmland of beautiful elma, new york. i give it 4 stars.

This County owned facility is outstanding for a public course. Tee times are easy to get and the staff is most helpful in making this an enjoyable experience. The course is in great shape considering the amount of play it gets and the Junior Golf Camp is exceptional. Make sure you put this course on your must play calender every year.
