Elma Meadows Golf Course

This course was built on rolling terrain, so expect some uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on two holes. The greens are medium speed and large. The wind can make a big difference here, so selecting the proper club becomes an important aspect of the game. The ladies' par is actually 75.

A Lotta Bang For the Buck, Dec 24, 2007 |

| Elma is without a doubt my favorite course of all time. I have lived in Dallas for 14 years so have seen some great courses. Elma still ranks #1. The tree lined fairways (especially #2) and gorgeous western new york scenery are the number one reason that I am moving back to wny. :). the low fees are a bonus (though not as low as the $3 fee I paid when I began back in 1968). Terrific course, a lot of bang for the buck. Ya gotta luv the elevated tee at #1! |

| i love this course! growing up, this was my favorite course. the money was right (It was $3 for weekdays and $4 for weekends. yeah, it was a while ago...) the course was challenging, though, and without a lot of water (ugh). the fairways are tight. there are a lot of out of bounds, so you need to keep your drives straight. we used to walk then (we were kids) so it is a bit of a physical challenge, especially on the last 3 holes (they're uphill). all in all, a great course for the money, nestled in the rolling farmland of beautiful elma, new york. i give it 4 stars. |

Great Value and service, Jan 02, 2007 |

| This County owned facility is outstanding for a public course. Tee times are easy to get and the staff is most helpful in making this an enjoyable experience. The course is in great shape considering the amount of play it gets and the Junior Golf Camp is exceptional. Make sure you put this course on your must play calender every year. |

Great course for a low price., Feb 09, 2005 |

| The conditions of the turf may not be country club-esque, but combined the the great layout, this course a very fun experience. Also, (as of 2005), the passes offer unlimited play. I recommend everyone to play here at least once. |

| this course gets a lot of play. it is not a bad value for the price and will present a challange to golfers. my main complaints are there are only 2 par 3's and par 5's on the course. they also sock a single player full price for their cart's. do not play when the greens have been recently airated, they are terrible then. |

Good Value, May 10, 2004 |

| You can't do much better for your money golfing here. The price for 2004 is $14. The course is large and wide open and you won't loose many balls nor get hit by on-coming golfers. I play this course a lot and I usually score better here than most other places. The grounds are very attractive and they put a lot of money into the place. Being a government-run course, however, makes it difficult with all the rules regarding tee times, league play and other peculiarities. I do recommend it! |
