Challenging little layout with a bit of history, Jun 12, 2005

I grew up playing this course and went back to find it still going strong. It's hard to believe, but this little layout has a little bit of golf history, namely Bobby Jones came through in the 20s and set the course record (which I believe still stands). The second hole, an uphill par four is a real challenge. There are several short par fours with doglegs with elevated tees and two nice closing holes--a long par 3 and a reachable par 5 ninth hole.

A small mom and pop course that is well maintained. The greens are nice and cut well. The tees are small but useable. If you want to have a $12 round of golf this is the place.

Bing is a fairly easy course that is fairly easy to get on. There are a few holes that are semi-challenging, but not many. This course is fairly long and has lots of old trees boardering the fairways. Play the Blue tees for a more challenging round.
