This course is highlighted by the water hazards coming into play on six holes, plus the numerous sand bunkers incorporated into its design. The questionnaire that was sent to county residents showed that hole #7 was rated as one of the hardest holes in the region. This hole, a 353-yard, par 4, requires an uphill tee shot onto a dogleg fairway, then an approach shot to a small, well-bunkered green. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

My favorite course, Apr 09, 2004

This is a course I would recommend to any one. It's long holes are 1,9,10, and 18. It's shortest I say is 15. But yes, there is the infamous 7th hole. It is a dogleg left about 356, the fairway is narrow, and if you hit it too far you will find yourself in the water. If you reach the 100 yard maker, you're looking up a hill to the green. The best I have done is par it, but I love the challenge. The people there are friendly and they have a driving range to warm up on. It is just my favorite course around this area.

This course is my favorite and it is because of the 7th hole. I know if I conquer 7 with a par or above, my day is set. The first and last holes on both the front and back 9 are long and challenging. It's a fun course.
