I really enjoy this course when I come visit Enid. It is in overall average to good condition. Greens are usually in great shape. Fairways can sometimes use some work. Lots of large trees on the edges make slicers cringe. Contrary to others, I've found the staff friendly and even have taken a lesson. Overall value is outstanding. Not a very difficult course, but a few holes with some nasty trees.

since the upgrade in the course, there are several long holes and lots of water, surrounded by a challanging amount of foilage. course rates are competative and plenty of practice area

"Great Private Course - Gem in CNY"
If you have a reciprocal with this course, you should take advantage. It's well maintained, with narrow fairways, and challenging greens. You need to have your iron game, because your second shot into most greens is critical. A bail out will cost you a stroke, as almost all holes have sand bunkers guarding the greens. Good fun for the ave golfer and player alike. A real Must Play.

Royal Oak Resort & Golf Club
"More for Less"
Royal Oak is hidden gem. It offers more golf for less money than any other course in the area. This Dick Wilson designed track has elevation changes and terrain not found on many Florida courses. Sadly, it needs an influx of cash to add to its rating. The two biggest problems that I see are the lack of sand in the bunkers and the club house in need of renovation. You will find the course a great value and the staff congenial.
