This course rolls out among the lakes and woods of the Tartan Pines Golf Community. Carefully designed to be both a challenge for the scratch golfer and a satisfying round for the rest, the course is truly unique. As you walk down to the green on hole #9, the clubhouse ahead overlooks not only your green, but also the green on #18, and the tee on #10. The trees in the distance mirror a reflection on the lake below the clubhouse.

Desert Hills Golf Club
"What a golf course should be."
I have played this private course 5-6 times since 1992 and have enjoyed it every time. Recently I played as a guest in a small tournament and the course was in excellent condition. There are 8 other courses in this retirement community, several owned and managed by large course management groups, but they are not in the same class as this one as far as quality is concerned. There are few if any divots on the greens, all players seem to be very conscious of divot repair on the entire course, including the rough, facilities are clean and fresh, clubhouse is pleasant and modern and the staff is great. I have just joined and am thrilled to death with a life-time membership to look forward to!

"Good course management required"
This tight, tree-lined venue has numerous doglegs, precise bunkering and water on 14 holes. Those challenges, combined with relatively short length make it a serious test for all levels of players. Four sets of tees accommodate virtually all golfers. The club does not discriminate against women in membership or availability of tee times. Exceptional food and service are other attributes which make this club a tremendous value.

Manteno Golf Club
"Awesome"
This is the best course that I have ever played. It has lucious fairways and big bending doglegs. The thick rough gets you in trouble if you do not hit the fairway. It has a lot of rolling hills and elevation changes. This is a very challenging golf course.
