This is a great course to practice your short game. The longest hole is 250 yards. The course is basically straightforward. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. This course rents electric carts only to people with disabilities.

Great beginner/short coarse, Aug 19, 2004

My wife and I have played here for two years at least once a month if we could. She has no distance to her game, and neither do I. This coarse has help with my short game, and showed me that my wife can play also here and do well, which in turn keeps her playing. If you don't need to crush it!! enjoy the play, the food is pretty good also.

Piney Valley Golf Course
"Not too bad"
This golf course offers an exersise of the mental game and practice on accuracy. This course is one of the nicest in the area. The front nine offers chances to let loose and holes to decide what club to hit. The back nine is more flat yet a bit more difficult due to the mind set of trying to reach in two. This course is not a five because easyness and choices of veggitation and is not a four because of it being on a military base ( security check gates) however for someone who doesn't want to travel an hour or two away its nothing to complain about.

Golf Club at Cimarron Trails, The
"My review"
Cimarron Trails is one of the most challenging and exciting courses I have played in my lifetime of golfing. I would recommend this course to any serious and/or just weekend golfers. The first minte entering the spetacular and spacious clubhouse you get a feeling of something special happening. It smells like golf and it is golf incarnate. If you do one thing in your life as a golfer it should be to play at least one round at Cimarron Trails. Regards, Hugh

Having played this course each year for the past 10 years or so, it is always on my play list. Beautifully maintained, a challenge to play, overall relaxed round of golf. If you haven't played it, make sure you do!
