This beautiful course is located in the basin of a valley. The Castle Creek River flows throughout the course and comes into play on six holes, including four of the last six. There are many oak and pine trees lining the fairways. Jack Daray, Jr. and Stephen Halsey redesigned the course in 1983. Twilight discount rates begin daily at 1 PM.

Since I have been a member at Castle Creek for 20 plus years I feel I can rate this course! My idea of a good golf course is that it be playable and scenic. Castle Creek is both. This course has character with its varying holes. There are narrow and wide fairways, short par 3's and one fairly long par 3, there are a few ponds that must be carried off the tee or in front of the green, nasty sand traps especially on the 9th hole, many old California Oaks, Pine trees and other kinds that make the course not only beautiful but challenging. Like I said I've been playing this course for 20 plus years and never get tired of it! Wishing you all good golf!

Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club
"The brook"
Beaver Brook is a nice course that was developed in the 50's. Because of that, it is not the longest course, and it is more technical than some of the more modern, open designs. The fairways are narrow and hilly with a lot of blind approach shots, and the greens are small. From the Blue it is about 6000 yards, but plays longer because of some of the second shot angles and elevated greens. If you keep it in the fairway, you can score. If you don't, it will be a long round.
