This upscale private course has eighteen lush and challenging holes. Trees are abundant throughout with a variety of elevated tees and greens. There are strategically placed waste bunkers and pot bunkers. The signature hole is #16, a 459-yard, par 4, featuring a twenty-six foot elevated green with a carry over wetlands that is thirty yards out. West Bay Golf Club is a candidate for memberships to the Audubon Cooperative Signature Group. Members remark that this course is unlike any Florida course they have played due to its untypical rolling topography. The course does not wish to publish any fees. The 5,931-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 72.5 and a slope of 131.
