This course was built into the Coburg foothills with mature oak, maple, and ash trees lining its 100-year-old fairways. The terrain varies from flat to rolling, yet is still easy to walk. There are a variety of fairways ranging from open to narrow, and the greens are medium-sized. Two lakes, a creek, and intermittent wetlands come into play on several holes. Some of the yardage indicated is an estimate provided by the club personnel.

Toughest course I've ever played!, Aug 26, 2004 |

| Holy cow! And I mean COW. I almost hit one while teeing off. This has got to be the roughest course I've ever played. The natural theme works well, but I never was able to find any tee off boxes or greens. But this is not a knock of the course, just an observation. I wasn't able to finish my round (lost all my golf balls), but had a great time and recommend it to anyone who isn't bothered by poison oak or angry cows! |
