The terrain on this course is very hilly, so you can expect many uneven lies in the fairways. Numerous trees and sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design.

classic "old school" course, Mar 28, 2012 |
| reviewer: Robert Brown

| built in 1930. Small bermuda greens, relatively narrow fairways. Old growth mature pines frame every hole, along with dogwood and azalea. Requires accurate shotmaking, especially into the greens, to score well. Not many amenities (no restaurant, but you can get snacks, drinks). This course is the way they were built back in the 20's and 30's, and has survived virtually unchanged. Worth a trip to play! |

Challenging iron play, Sep 20, 2005 |

| The greens are very small, but in pretty good shape. Iron play must be exacting to enable a chance to make par. Course layout requires use of most of the clubs in the bag. Overall a fun course and, if walking, a good workout too. |
