Stone Hedge Country ClubRural Route 1 Factoryville, PA 18419 Phone: (570)836-5108Fax: (570)836-6149
This course has enough variety of terrain to challenge the most advanced golfer. The front nine is somewhat open, but there are many scattered trees that can alter your shots, and the narrow back nine is thickly tree lined. All the tee boxes are elevated, and the large greens are undulating and fast. Local golfers claim that these greens are the best in the entire county.

| The course is very appealing and well maintained. The views are wonderful. This course is one of the nicest in the area. The course does not, however, provide you with enough signs to lead you to the next hole. This is a drawback to someone who had not golfed the course before. The signs depicting and identifying the each hole are non-existent and a wooden post with a nondescript number is the only marker present. There was a very attentive golf marshall present who monitored play well. The price on weekends, $47, is quite high. Overall this is a great course.

A Monster, Apr 29, 2004

| This course is a monster. Four 569yd par 5's, mounded and trapped fairways, long carries over wetlands, blind greens in one of the most beautiful settings of any course I've played. You better bring your A-game and lots of balls. Number 2- 400+yds narrow trapped fairway to a severly sloped elevated green is #1 handicap hole. If you get above the pin on this baby forget a par. The beautiful views from the elevated tees will make you thank the golf God for putting you on this course. |
