This slightly hilly course has water hazards coming into play on several holes. This club was originally founded in 1893 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" recognized it in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." "Golf Digest" rated it as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. A. W. Tillinghast redesigned the original holes in 1928.

| i think that brooklawn is an awesome course. it really tought me a lot about golf and how if i can play here then i can play anywhere because of how much of a challenge it is. i love this course and it will always be my home course. |

| Im currently caddying at the Brooklawn country club and the course is excellent. The entire course is in great condition with no brown patches at all. The course provides a good challenge with hills on most holes. A river and water hazards come in to play on a few holes. The course is layed out well and has a good design and variety of holes. I would reccomend this course. |
