This course has wide fairways with out-of-bounds stakes bordering seventeen of the eighteen holes. The rough is forgiving, but there are five ponds that come into play on six holes. This is a unique course because it has three par 5's on the back nine.

Decent tee boxes and decent greens. The area in between, however, aint nothin' special. Reletivly green, mostly flat. The quail hunters in the not so far away distance makes this course interesting. Nothing screams golf more than a couple of hundred shotgun blasts. Birdies take on a whole new meaning here.

There is nothing better to do on a warm summer evening than playing a few holes down on the POYCC golf course. The course is always kept in the best condition with improvements always being made where ever possible. The course is easy enough for the casual golfer, but has a variety of challenges that make it fun and competive. The best aspect of the course is the great atmosphere and senic views of classic New England in Long Island Sound. After playing with friends, returning to the club house is a great experience. The course is always alive and no matter what the circumstances it is always a good game of golf.

One of the most brutal couses I have played. Played it in 89 and again in 91 by request on Myrtle Beach gof packages. Only lame hole was #2 at that time.

Plantation at Leesburg, The - Cranes Roost Course
"easy course to play for the ave. golfer"
Played this course as a guest while visiting the plantation. Shot a 76 from the white tee boxes. Was able to drive two of the short par 4 holes. Maybe playing this course from the back tee boxes would be more of a challenge. Course was in great shape - nice size greens. Bunkers had plenty of sand and all were nicely raked. A good course to score on.
