This exclusive club maintains three well-manicured eighteen hole courses for their 1,200 members. The Forest Course was carved out of the forest and features narrow fairways with mounding that will create some interesting lies. The greens vary in design, but are exceptionally large and loaded with subtle undulations. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The most difficult hole to play is #18, a 602-yard, par 5, which plays uphill and requires a tee shot that must carry a pond. "Golf Digest" rated the Forest Course as the 14th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. The River Course has the Lamington River meandering into play on twelve holes. The fairways are wide open, and the terrain is rolling. The most difficult hole to play is #7, a 409-yard, par 4, with a dogleg left fairway and undulating green which are both protected by plenty of sand bunkers. The Meadow Course was built in a meadow and is the most hilly of the three courses, especially the back nine. Be prepared for many up and downhill shots to small greens. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. The most difficult hole is #15, a 463-yard, par 4, which requires two long, uphill, into the wind shots to a well-bunkered green.

A short course, Jun 28, 2004
reviewer: Anonymous from New Jersey
If you are a moderate to low handicapper this course should be played from the back (Black) tees, or at the very least the Blues. The course is quite well maintained and the greens and fairways are very nice. The greens could be made much more intimidating if they were a bit faster, but they are nothing to sneeze at in their current state. The largest complaint with the course is that not all of the tee boxes are completely level -- something that could, and should be rectified. Other than that, a very enjoyable round of golf that moves at a nice pace (around 4:15 on weekends) with a staff that is very professional.
