| All the reviews here say it isn't well maintained, so that's what I was expecting. To my surprise, the greens were immaculate (they looked like they'd been aerated about two or three weeks ago, which is right on schedule) and the fairways and rough were freshly groomed. The course itself is challenging but not long. I could only use my driver on maybe 4 or 5 holes. Bring some good utility clubs (or long irons if you're actually good) for the tee. My only complaint is how hard the bunkers were, but it had just finished raining for three days straight, so I think it would be better on average. |

| Overall the course was ok. I didn't get bored with it. But they have to fix up the greens. It is clear they do not put in money for upkeep here. |

Learned the game here..., Apr 13, 2010 |

| Great course to learn the in's and out's of the game. Not the best maintained...no Pro Shop...small snack stand for sodas and hot dogs. I learned to play here and still enjoy it every now and again. Most people stay away because its "short". Well let me tell you...it may be short but if you don't respect this course it will make you pay!! BIG TIME!! There are plenty of oppurtunities on this course to be a "hero". It almost begs you to take the low percentage, risky shot, however 9 times out of 10 it wont work out for the best. At times in the summer when its really dry the greens are almost impossible. You almost have to use your first putt to get into position for your second. Experinced golfers may get "bored" with the layout but if you think you will go in there and own the course...you are mistaken. Looking forward to teaching my son the game here. |

| Overall, course is generally in fair condition. Tee boxes need work. Fairways open but need conditioning. Tight, tough greens. Good value for the money. Also, good course for kids. Never overcrowded. Finish round in under four hours. |

Nice course, Nov 27, 2008 |

| This course is not Hominy or CHarleston Springs. However, it is a nice little course. It is not always in the best of shape but for the price it's not bad. It is not long but alot of the greens are crowned making putting tough. For a good golfer it willl be a very easy course. I play it with my kids and for them it is great. |
