This resort, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," features two outstanding eighteen hole courses. The Links Course was built amongst the Laurel Mountains and features large greens that have average speed. The terrain is naturally hilly, and the fairways are lined with large rocks and trees. There are several water hazards and sand bunkers incorporated into the course's design. The Mystic Rock Course has water coming into play on ten holes. Even though the fairways were cut out of the woods, they still afford generous landing areas. The greens are large and undulating. The signature hole is #12, a 173-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green. "GOLF Magazine" selected the Mystic Rock Course 96th in its 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S."

"Pines Par 3"
This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool.

golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

Wonderfull! - Grew up there, right next door - on Merrivale drive. (6, Merrivale drive to be exact!) - used to play army there! ( when I was a young soldier, - back in the '60s.) Well, I don't know about golf, but living next door to that BEAUTIFUL golfcourse was a memory I'll cherish forever!

The corse is not hard at all but a fun getaway for a sunny afternoon when you have nothin else to do besides play the best sport on earth, and wanna kick back a relax on our nice moderate speed golf carts. Its fun and has a few challenging holes so give it a try. Got to give it three stars cuz its my home course.
