While it may not be the most imaculately groomed course in the area, it has some great holes, and you can't beat the price. The views from the tees are wonderful. The overall course design is good. The Par 3's are great. All this course needs in order to make it great, is just a little money and some TLC.

This a basic no thrills 18 hole golf course. A course you can go learn or a course to take someone to learn without the fear of slowing others up too much. It is under new ownership, and in a short 6 months have made many inprovements. This course has water on several holes. No sand traps.

"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.
