This course has water in play on eight holes and sand bunkers protecting most of the landing areas and greens. One of the most difficult holes on the front nine is #8, a 520-yard, par 5, which features a dogleg left fairway, with sand bunkers and water placed at the turn. The back nine concludes with another 520-yard, par 5, featuring a slight dogleg right fairway, with water sitting to the right of the well-bunkered green. The 6,150-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.3 and a slope of 138.

Outstanding public course, Sep 19, 2004

Just an outstanding course. Narrow fairways and lots of trouble along with fast undulating greens make for a real adventure. Hole #5 is likely as tough a par 4 as you'll ever want to encounter with trouble everywhere and an elevated green at the end of your adventure. Hole #6 is a 200 yard beast of a par 3 even from the middle tees. #13 is a short par 3 that has a huge hump in the green and if you on the wrong side of the green from the flag your chances of a two putt are nil. #17 is probably my favorite par 3 I've played with an elevated green with lots of contour and a pond from tee to green. Once again, getting on the green on your tee shot hardly guarantees a par, lol. This course is a definite must play and worthy of a roadtrip with your foursome!
