This hilly course was built on land once used as a dairy farm. Water hazards are located on sixteen holes and come into play on five. The flat greens are average-sized and putt true. The most difficult hole is #4, a 224-yard, par 3, requiring an uphill tee shot to a well-bunkered green.

This is a wonderful course. It is not too short yet not too long with somewhat challenging to hit fairways. Good soft greens.

"Tough Day"
I played this course with my brother,(scratch) on a Saturday in September 2003. We found it easily, we paid and went thru the rather surly starter and we were off, there wasn't much of a wait on the first tee. The first couple of holes were standard, it was a rather breezy day so I was really challenged to keep my ball on our the fairway.(this would be my problem for most of the round). Nice elavation changes, and the course looked great compared to it's neighbor,(whitetail). Dogs and beer at the turn. The back nine was just as nice as the front. Immaculate greens with challenging pin positions. Afterwards it was a couple of more beers and burgers at the lounge. Good food. If we had more time we would have gone to their fine dining restaurant, got a glance at their menu, looked really nice. great sunset too! Overall a great day.

"It is what it is."
This is a no-nonsense par 3 course. Course is flat and wide open. Excellent place to get in a practice round or take kids or beginning golfers to. Low handicappers will not find this course challenging with the exception of a few water hazards. Fees are $15 monday through thursday.
