This is a scenic, easy-to-walk course with wide fairways and many floral plantings around the course. It's not too hilly, so it can provide an easy walk that you'll enjoy. The greens are large and usually fast. Water comes into play on nine holes, including #15, a 390-yard, par 4, with a pond that must be carried on the approach to the green.

| I've had the pleasure of playing many a round at Oak Ridge. It is a very fair, yet demanding layout. The large bent greens give the flexibility of playing medium, fast or very fast, depending on the tourament or the time of season. Landing areas for most tee balls are generous. Accuracy is a priority on approaches, but not many instances of jail on missed greens. The 5 hard par 3's require your focus in order to score. A very fun course if you are on your game. |
