Private course, but allows for guests and outside membership, Mar 12, 2009

Not well kept and doesn't seem to have any sort of control or marshaling. The greens are pretty good during the late spring and summer, but the fairways and tees are rarely in decent condition.

"Great Private Course - Gem in CNY"
If you have a reciprocal with this course, you should take advantage. It's well maintained, with narrow fairways, and challenging greens. You need to have your iron game, because your second shot into most greens is critical. A bail out will cost you a stroke, as almost all holes have sand bunkers guarding the greens. Good fun for the ave golfer and player alike. A real Must Play.

"Good course management required"
This tight, tree-lined venue has numerous doglegs, precise bunkering and water on 14 holes. Those challenges, combined with relatively short length make it a serious test for all levels of players. Four sets of tees accommodate virtually all golfers. The club does not discriminate against women in membership or availability of tee times. Exceptional food and service are other attributes which make this club a tremendous value.

It is one of the nicer courses in the Mansfield area. Most holes flow smoothly to the next. The main challenge like most good courses is shot shaping, you do that and you'll see some good scores.
