This course was built in a wooded area, so expect the fairways to be lined with mature trees. In addition, there are has three major hills that will cause uneven lies. The signature hole is #8, a 69-yard, par 3, which requires a tight shot through the trees. Don't let this hole's distance fool you, if you miss hit your shot you're in trouble.

| One of the hidden treasures of Door County. The course is in excellent condition from the tee to the green. It challenges all level of golfer, and some of the views are spectactular. The staff is very accomidating and the clubhouse has a nice little resturant and pro shop. Prices are very reasonable. Call early for a tee time as the course is busy. If you enjoy golf, this is a must course to play! |

Scenic fun in good ol' Door County, Jul 22, 2005 |

| Penninsula State Park Golf Course possesses one of the most beautiful views of any course I have played. An aerial view of the Sister Bay harbor is visible from most parts of the course. Playing this fun yet challenging course is best in early fall when the trees change colors. Greens fees are inexpensive and the club house has a very tasty little restaurant where you get lots of good food for your money. Unfortunately, it is a state park, so no cart girls. :( Check it out next time you head to Door County! |
