Excellent course. Not so nice pro, Aug 08, 2010

Oak Hill is an excellent course to play. Right now they are desperate fo members and they have lowered membership fees. My friend got a family memebership that was $4500 no initiation fee. That is a HUGE deal considering the initiation fee was like $10,000. The pro is not very nice sometimes. He is old and thinks he owns the place. (which he doesn't). He will make rude remarks to women. Women are also not allowed toplay on certain days....not a shocker. BUT the course is great!

Chief at Sky Lodge Golf Course, The
"Bring it on!"
The Chief is perhaps the most challenging course I have played in northern Michigan. While it is a toughy, especially from the tips, it brings out a carnal instinct in me to play it again because I know that with my new knowledge I can improve my score. The course was in great shape with its bent tees, greens and fairways nicely manicured. The pro indicated that they just lowered the length of the rough, which made a great improvement. Service was also great in the shop. Leave your driver at home and have some fun.
