This course is located near the beach and adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. Its cool ocean breezes make playing golf comfortable in the summertime. The course is mostly flat, but there are a couple of hills on holes #7, 8 and 9 that can cause uneven lies. The greens are small, a variety of shapes, undulating, and slightly elevated. There are five ponds that come into play on four holes. There are palm trees and homes lining all the fairways. The signature hole is #6, a 250-yard, par 4, with water in front of the green, and large mounds plus out-of-bounds stakes behind. Lloyd Clifton redesigned the course in 1974. Clubs are available free of charge.

This is a very nice course to play on. Not the most difficult course you will ever see, but it does have its moments. There is plenty of water and bunkers to keep any golfer busy. Also, the last four holes make the course very challegning. Holes 15 and 16 are the two of the longest par fives on the course. They are followed by the longest par 3 and the you finish of the round with the longest par 4 of the course. The scenery is definetly great, as is the atomosphere. Also, there is a state-of-the-art range and chipping green that could compete with any other clubs.

Play a fade, use a draw, this course tests your shot making ability. Don't worry about spinning the ball: most greens are flat or tilt toward the tee. Great course.
